LINDSAY LOHAN AND HILARY DUFF MAKEUP !

Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff have patched up their differences five years after they fought over for the affections of Aaron Carter. The two actress/pop stars launched a public war of words in 2002 when they simultaneously dated Carter, but time seems to have healed their rift. The former love rivals have been spotted hanging out together in Hollywood recently, and now Duff has told People magazine she's no longer warring with Lohan. She says, "We are both adults and whatever happened, happened when we were young. It's over." Lohan further proved the fight between her and Duff is over when she showed up at the release party for Duff's new album, Dignity, on Monday night. She told reporters, "She's really fun. ... She's a nice girl."

HILARY DUFF DENIES NICOLE RICHIE SLAM

Hilary Duff has denied claims she slammed Nicole Richie in her song 'Gypsy Woman'.The teen star's lyrics were believed to be a scathing attack directed at her ex-lover Joel Madden's new girlfriend Nicole, but Hilary insists this is not true. Hilary said: "It's not my job to talk about my relationship. But the more you try to keep it quiet, the more people want to know about it."The 19-year-old actress and singer dated Joel from 2004 until November 2006. Hilary - who shot to fame as the star of hit US TV show 'Lizzie McGuire' -also spoke of the pressure she feels to be thin since she became famous. Hilary said although she has never had a problem with her weight, she feels people can be "judgmental and mean". She said: "If you don't like the way you look or feel insecure, when people say things about you - in magazines or just in everyday life - they can be hurtful. But you'll never make them happy."

Hilary Duff apparently slams ex-lover Joel Madden (left) and his girlfriend Nicole Richie on her new album. In the title track of 'Dignity', the blonde singer appears to attack the couple who began dating soon after the Good Charlotte frontman split from Hilary.The song lyrics apparently say: "Where's your dignity? I think you lost it in the Hollywood Hills. Can't buy respect but you can pick up that bill. Always with Mr. Right, but then you have a fight. Run into your friend's ex,he's happy to be your next. Tomorrow's paper's coming out so kiss him fast, watch the cameras flash."Hilary, who dated Joel for two years, is also said to slate Nicole on track 'Gypsy Woman' - branding 'The Simple Life' star "sick" and "shameless".The lyrics read: "She lets you think that you found her first. That's how she works her sick and twisted gypsy curse. Talks with a grin 'cause she's got no shame. Enjoy the fame, bringing down the family name."Joel and Nicole are not the only ones on the end of a verbal attack from the19-year-old singer. In 'Dreamer', Hilary seemingly condemns the man who was jailed in January for stalking her. Hilary Duff is ready to date like a guy.The single actress-and-singer broke up from her long-term boyfriend, Good Charlotte lead singer Joel Madden, last year and admits she is enjoying playing the field. She said during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest: "Dating is fun. I kind of feel like a guy! It's, like, I can do it now. But I feel kind of wrong at the same time.""I've never gotten to date before, so it's kind of exciting. I've always just had a boyfriend, you know? I'm young!"If the right man came along the 19-year-old star insists she would "go for it". She explained: "What if I meet someone that I really am into, and they're really into me? If I'm feeling it, I'm going for it?"Hilary has also revealed that she and Joel are on speaking terms despite their split and insists the pair have both moved on. She added: "There was nothing - no fight, no, 'He did this, I did that.'"It was just time for the two of us to move on and do different things."I had a really great relationship with him, and we still have a great relationship, which is really good and unusual. HILARY DUFF STALKER SENTENCED

An 18-year-old Russian immigrant has been sentenced to four months in a Los Angeles jail for stalking actress-singer Hilary Duff. Maksim Myaskovskiy was ordered held in Los Angeles County jail immediately after he pleaded no contest on Friday to the stalking charge. He was also sentenced to five years' probation by Judge Thomas Sokolov in Torrance Superior Court, south of Los Angeles. Myaskovskiy was arrested in November after a private investigator working for the 19-year-old Duff alleged the youngster had threatened to kill her. About a month earlier, Duff and her then-boyfriend, rock singer Joel Madden of the band Good Charlotte, had sought restraining orders against Myaskovskiy and his roommate. Duff, who rose to fame in the Disney children's TV series "Lizzie McGuire," has appeared in such movies as the "Cheaper By the Dozen" comedies and "Material Girls." She has also topped the U.S. pop album charts.
